This role includes ensuring that capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while also maintaining the overall health of the facility’s assets. As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Maintenance Manager is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager. This position supports both the North Liberty and Elkhart plants.\nWhat you will be doing\nRequired Education/Experience:\n5-10 in Maintenance\n3-5 years leadership experience\n.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nEngineering degree preferred or combination of technical school and experience in similar role.\nBasic understanding of safety principles and risk recognition.\nFamiliarity with quality standards and housekeeping/organizational skills.\nIntermediate computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.\nWorking knowledge of CMMS, MVP, and blueprint reading.\nUnderstanding of PLCs and proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.\nAbility to obtain project estimates and experience in project management.\nStrong ability to work collaboratively in a team and delegate tasks effectively.\nExcellent communication skills.\nCapable of leading and guiding others in decision-making and problem-solving.\nAccepts constructive feedback with a positive attitude.\nStrong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.\nAble to identify and communicate important information to key stakeholders.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail. \nSpanish-speaking skills are preferred but not required.\nWhat will make you successful?\n\nGeneral and Task Management\nEnsure that maintenance work is conducted safely, meets quality standards, and stays within budget and timelines.\n\nRoutine Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance plans and preservation activities, including lubrication, inspections, testing, and PMD.\n Continuous Reliability Improvement (CRI): Utilize predictive measures to enhance reliability.\nEmergency Response: Act swiftly to address breakdowns and unexpected issues.\n\nImplement and support continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.\nAssist in planned work preparation to minimize unplanned downtime and enhance machine performance.\nMaintain the upkeep of facilities and grounds.\nEnsure compliance with state regulations regarding water discharge.\nFacilitate problem-solving sessions among operations, engineering, and maintenance to address and eliminate recurring failures.\n\nPeople ManagementLead the maintenance team to ensure they focus on the right priorities while working safely and maintaining quality standards.seminars and conferences.
