This role has responsibility in executing work priorities to team members based on production demands/needs, directs team members on scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, supports product development and improvements.\nDuties include:\nAssists in the design, implementation, and modifications of preventative maintenance programs\nResolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality as needed.\nOversee, direct and schedule maintenance team and activities in adherence to the manufacturing schedule.\nEnsure proper preventative maintenance is completed, training is executed to team members, and safety measures are adhered to.\nAbility to troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, repair, rebuild and/or replace manufacturing and facilities equipment and systems.\nAssist in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experience team members as needed and appropriate.\nUpdate SOP’s and work instructions as needed.\nWhat will make you successful?\nRequired:\n 2+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting \nTechnical understanding and ability across a broad spectrum of technical areas (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)\nCapability to learn the CMMS, Oracle and other programs related to this assignment\nPreferred:\nHigh degree of knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes preferred\nEqual opportunities\nHydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
