This role focuses on meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Collaboration with production managers, procurement teams, logistics providers, and customer service representatives is essential to ensure seamless operations and effective supply chain management.\nWhat you will be doing\nPlan conduit locations using SAPEX stocking tools.\nSchedule production work centers to achieve stocking goals and maintain a COTD above 95%.\nIdentify capacity constraints and collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve issues.\nAttend daily conduit production meetings and weekly agent status meetings.\nSet daily and monthly production targets for each work center.\nPublish a daily scorecard for the conduit product line.\nCoordinate with subcontractors involved in the conduit product line and manage receiving tasks for these vendors.\nReview conduit customer orders, determining shipping points and delivery dates.\nMonitor inventory levels at all conduit stock locations and provide a shipping schedule for St. Augustine and Magnolia.\nLearn Master Data functions in SAPEX, including creating new parts and processing Engineering Change Requests.\nMaintain positive professional relationships with internal and external customers.\nReconcile agent warehouse inventories as needed.\nAssist with annual physical inventories at the plant or other locations as directed.\nPerform additional duties as needed\nWhat will make you successful?\nRequired Education/Experience:\n3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nManufacturing experience is required, while materials experience is preferred. \nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant course is desirable.\nSignificant experience with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP, is preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and a solid grasp of supply chain concepts.\nStrong analytical skills are essential.\nProficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, policies, and procedure manuals.\nCapable of writing routine reports and correspondence effectively.\nDemonstrate the ability to work independently while exhibiting strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nCapable of effectively presenting information to groups of customers or employees. \nEqual opportunities\nHydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer where all phases of employment are based strictly upon the qualifications of the individual as related to the work requirements of the position.
