We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team remotely in Brazil! This is a full-time position.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the point of contact for all product technical issues across Latin America - troubleshooting and delivering timely remedial actions and solutions for Hygiena Sales teams, customers, and distributors.\nTrain new customers, distributors, and technicians on the proper use of the Hygiena portfolio, optimizing support resources to maintain a satisfied customer base and drive profitable sales while managing an annual operating budget.\nPartner with Territory Sales Managers to develop and execute an annual accelerated business growth plan covering new product launches, new installations and applications, upgrades, and existing customer support.\nPull and analyze data to overcome technical obstacles, win new business, and monitor competitors and food and beverage market trends - adjusting tactics and go-to-market strategy to gain market share.\nCollaborate with the Business Unit Manager, Technical Support Manager, Marketing, Tech Service, Applications, and R&D teams to resolve customer challenges; support, coach, and shadow fellow TSSs and TSMs as needed.\nRepresent Hygiena in relevant industry associations as a speaker, panelist, poster author, or technical working group member, and manage your territory daily in the MS 365 CRM platform.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in life sciences (biology, microbiology, chemistry, food microbiology) or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience\n2-6 years of experience in a B2B sales or technical support role\nHands-on knowledge of and experience running PCR, Real-Time PCR, ribotyping, and molecular systems\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS 365 CRM, and WebEx or a similar web meeting application\nEnglish proficiency at an intermediate level or higher\nPreferred:\nMS or PhD in Food Science or Microbiology\nSkills/Abilities:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility and aptitude to operate and maintain fine scientific instrumentation\nAbility to conduct detailed data analysis and troubleshoot each product platform\nAbility to develop design of experiments (DOE)\nSound discretion and independent judgment\nClose attention to detail\nCollaborative team player who adapts and flexes in a changing environment\nWhy you’ll want to join our team:\n Teamwork as a core value.\nAt Hygiena, our emphasis on teamwork and cross-functional communication enables us to build stronger bonds within our business.\n Be a part of something big.\nHygiena plays a critical role in helping to prevent global health crisis such as foodborne illness, healthcare-associated infections, and other outbreaks - today, that means protecting people in more than 100 countries.\n\n Growing fast, together.\nWith rapid growth comes real opportunity - new challenges, more ownership, and room to build a career as we expand our science and our reach around the world.\n Giving back to our communities.\nHygiena believes in giving back by supporting local organizations committed to improving the lives of children and youth in our communities.\nSound like you?
