Role\nHykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced computer vision algorithms and intelligent perception systems for next-generation mobility and autonomous technologies.\nYou will work on high-performance algorithms involving camera and LiDAR data, focusing on calibration, vehicle motion estimation, vision-based localization and geometric computer vision.\nThe role offers an opportunity to work across the complete software development lifecycle, from research and proof of concept to production-ready implementation, simulation and real-world testing.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for camera- and LiDAR-based systems.\nDevelop geometric computer vision solutions, including visual odometry, camera calibration, localization and 3D reconstruction.\nDevelop algorithms for real-time calibration and vehicle positioning.\nDrive product development from initial concepts and requirements through implementation, code reviews, integration and testing.\nDevelop high-performance, maintainable and production-grade C++ software for real-time systems running on Linux.\nPerform algorithm evaluation and verification using simulation environments, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups and real-vehicle testing.\nDevelop Python-based tools for monitoring, analysing and visualizing algorithm performance.\nConduct experiments, evaluate research findings and transform theoretical concepts into practical engineering solutions.\nAnalyse performance metrics and real-world datasets to improve algorithm accuracy, reliability and efficiency.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across computer vision, deep learning and platform engineering.\nContribute to software architecture, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong programming skills in C++, with experience developing high-performance and maintainable software.\nSeveral years of relevant professional experience in software development or algorithm engineering.\nBackground in Computer Vision, Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nStrong understanding of mathematics relevant to geometric computer vision.\nPractical experience developing computer vision algorithms and working with sensor data.\nExperience integrating software into complex products or real-time systems.\nAbility to translate mathematical models, research findings and theoretical concepts into production-ready software.\nExperience working across software development, testing and integration activities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nGood communication and collaboration skills.\nMeritorious Experience\nExperience in any of the following areas will be a significant advantage:\nIndustrial Computer Vision.\nCamera and LiDAR-based perception systems.\nAutonomous driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).\nVisual odometry, sensor calibration and localization.\nDeep Learning and its application in computer vision.\nPython programming for engineering tools, data analysis and visualization.\nGPU programming, CUDA and parallel computing.\nComputer graphics and 3D reconstruction.\nEmbedded software development and Linux-based systems.\nHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and simulation environments.\nSoftware architecture, system design and requirements
