maintain customer-facing features for a modern digital portal, taking end-to-end ownership of front-end solutions — from requirements clarification and UX collaboration to implementation, testing, release, production monitoring, and continuous improvement.\nWorking closely with Product Owners, UX designers, backend developers, and other engineering colleagues, you will contribute to front-end architecture, reusable components, application performance, and overall user experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.\nOwn front-end features throughout the complete development lifecycle, from requirements to production.\nBuild reusable, secure, maintainable, and well-tested UI components.\nIntegrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.\nContribute to front-end architecture, state management, and technical design decisions.\nDevelop and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests.\nImprove application performance, accessibility, browser compatibility, observability, and reliability.\nDeploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve applications in production.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend developers, and engineering teams.\nParticipate in constructive code reviews and share technical knowledge with colleagues.\nUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validating generated outputs for quality, security, accessibility, and maintainability.\nRequired Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience independently delivering front-end features in production environments.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience with modern front-end architecture, reusable component design, and state management.\nExperience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and managing asynchronous application flows.\nPractical knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, package management, and front-end build tools.\nExperience with automated testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.\nUnderstanding of web accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and front-end security.\nAbility to interpret Figma designs and collaborate effectively with UX designers.\nExperience working in Agile product teams using Scrum or Kanban.\nStrong ownership, analytical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nFluency in written and spoken English.\nNice to Have\nExperience with design systems and component libraries.\nKnowledge of Node.js, server-side rendering, or micro-frontend architecture.\nExperience with WebSockets, event-driven user interfaces, or real-time applications.\nExperience with AWS, observability tools, or cloud-hosted web applications.\nKnowledge of clean architecture, reusable design principles, and front-end performance optimisation.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Kiro, MCP servers, or AI agents.\nDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or equivalent practical
