You will define reference architectures, technical standards, and architectural guidelines while supporting teams in adopting modern cloud-native technologies and DevSecOps practices.\nYou will act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams, product leaders, platform teams, and enterprise architects, ensuring that technology decisions align with long-term business and platform strategies.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive the architectural evolution of software frameworks and associated engineering practices.\nDefine and maintain reference architectures, technical standards, and architectural guidelines.\nGuide engineering teams in designing scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.\nPromote standardisation, reusable components, automation, and platform-first approaches.\nDrive the adoption of cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, and modern engineering practices.\nFacilitate architecture reviews and contribute to strategic technology decisions.\nProvide architectural guidance across multiple product and platform teams.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Platform Teams, and Enterprise Architects.\nEnsure security, compliance, and operational requirements are incorporated into architectural solutions.\nMentor software engineers and architects and promote a strong engineering culture.\nSupport architecture transformation initiatives and continuous improvements in developer experience and engineering productivity.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or software architecture roles.\nProven experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\nStrong knowledge of AWS and modern cloud architectures.\nExperience with serverless and event-driven architectures.\nSolid understanding of microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.\nExperience defining security and compliance requirements within cloud environments.\nGood understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.\nNice to Have\nExperience working in large-scale enterprise environments.\nExperience with Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).\nAWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.\nKnowledge of software supply chain security, governance, and risk management.\nExperience leading architecture transformation and organisational change.\nUnderstanding of developer experience and engineering productivity
