Do you have the technical expertise to lead complex charging verification activities and guide engineering teams?\nHykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for a Senior Expert Charging Verification Engineer with deep knowledge of EV charging technologies, communication protocols, vehicle testing, and system verification.\nAbout the Role\nYou will take independent technical responsibility for charging verification activities across electric vehicle systems. The role involves planning, leading, and executing verification in vehicle, laboratory, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.\nYou will work with advanced charging technologies and protocols, ensuring interoperability, functionality, reliability, and compliance with relevant industry standards.\nYou will also provide technical leadership, support fault investigations, and guide other engineers throughout verification activities.\nKey Responsibilities\n- Lead and coordinate complex EV charging verification and testing activities.\nPlan and execute charging verification across vehicle, laboratory, and HIL environments.\nPerform hands-on testing and verification of charging systems and functionalities.\nAnalyse CAN communication, measurement data, and diagnostic information.\nUse CANalyzer, CANoe, and other relevant measurement and diagnostic tools.\nInvestigate charging-related issues through systematic fault tracing and root-cause analysis.\nVerify charging communication and interoperability across different charging standards and protocols.\nIdentify technical risks, analyse test results, and recommend corrective actions.\nTake independent technical ownership of verification activities.\nProvide technical guidance and support to other engineers.\nEnsure verification activities meet quality, reliability, and project requirements.\nMandatory Qualifications\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.\n12+ years of experience in the automotive industry.\n6+ years of experience in EV charging and charging verification.\n2+ years of technical leadership or team leadership experience.\nStrong hands-on experience in vehicle, laboratory, and HIL verification.\nPractical experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, CAN analysis, measurement, and diagnostic tools.\nExtensive experience in fault tracing and root-cause analysis.\nStrong technical knowledge and practical experience with the following charging standards and protocols:\nCCS\nDIN SPEC 70121\nISO 15118\nCHAdeMO\nGB/T\nNACS\nProven hands-on experience in charging verification and testing.\nAbility to independently lead verification activities and guide other engineers.\nNice to Have\n- Functional Safety knowledge and experience with ISO 26262.\nExperience in automotive cybersecurity.\nExperience with charging interoperability testing.\nKnowledge of PCAP and network analysis.\nExperience troubleshooting charging communication issues.\nCategory C truck driving licence.\nWho Should Apply?\nWe are looking for
