Associate or bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance, benefit, human resources or related field preferred.\nAbility to obtain and maintain Life and Health insurance license within 100 days.\nCustomer service experience, ideally within the insurance industry preferred.\nFamiliarity with relevant regulations, such as ERISA, HIPPA and ACA.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.\nStrong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\nPassionate work ethic with desire to learn and grow.\nProficient in using relevant MS Office software and systems for reporting, analysis and presentations\nAbility and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions. \nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States\nWhy Hylant?\nSince 1935, Hylant has been a family-owned insurance brokerage built on relationships, trust, and a people-first mindset.
