The Hylant Internship Program will offer you an exceptional opportunity to join a cohort of other talented interns, where you’ll gain practical experience, build vital skills, and forge meaningful connections within the insurance industry.\nGet hands-on experience in insurance with Hylant’s summer internship, offering professional growth and networking in a top-rated workplace.\nYour Role\nHere’s what you will be doing:\nAssist with processing insurance applications or certificates of insurance.\nOrganize and maintain client records and documentation.\nHelp prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal use.\nSupport data entry and database management for policy information.\nHelp schedule appointments and follow-ups with clients or agents.\nReview insurance policies for accuracy and completeness.\nConduct market research and analyze data.\nShadow experienced account managers or service team members.\nAttend training sessions on insurance products, compliance, and systems.\nTake on projects that support the team where necessary.\nAbout You\nWhat you'll need:\nRising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university, or graduated within the past seven months.\nMaintain an average GPA of 3.0 or higher.\nAbility to work from one of Hylant’s office locations nationwide.\nAvailability to work from May 18-August 13, 2027, with some flexibility.\nInterest in a long-term career in insurance.\nInvolvement in extracurricular activities and/or part-time job recommended.\nMajor in Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, IT, Business, HR, or Communications preferred but not required.\nAuthorized to work for any U.S. employer; Hylant cannot provide H-1B visa sponsorship.\nCompensation & Benefits\nEligibility to apply for a $5,000 scholarship upon successful completion for juniors or seniors.\nExperience a professional environment with an award-winning culture rated Best Place to Work in Insurance for 17 years.\nOpportunities to meet clients, carriers, and vendors, including shadowing and on-site visits.\nVisit multiple Hylant offices to expand your network and experience company culture.\nTraining & Development\nParticipate in a six-week “Intro to Insurance” self-guided course covering industry terminology and practices.\nEngage in summer-long professional development courses to enhance soft skills and personal potential.\nWork collaboratively with mentors and Hylant leaders throughout the internship.\nParticipate in the Hylant Innovation Challenge, consulting with executive leadership on real business solutions.\nCareer Progression\nSuccessful interns at junior or senior standing may be eligible for scholarships and long-term career opportunities within the insurance industry.\nHow to Apply\nPlease submit your application for review.
