Join us in building a platform that empowers innovators everywhere to turn their visionary AI projects into reality.\nAbout the Role\nHyperbolic is seeking a hands-on Head of Talent to refine the systems and processes behind our next stage of growth from ~30 to ~70-100 employees in the next 6-12 months. This role will shape what Hyperbolic looks like and where our future holds.\nWorking directly with our founders and leadership team, you will define hiring priorities, personally lead critical searches, and build a rigorous, scalable recruiting engine. This is a player-coach role for someone who can attract exceptional technical and business talent while creating the systems that help us hire with speed and quality.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn full-cycle recruiting across all departments.\n\nTranslate company goals, mission and culture into clear hiring priorities, candidate profiles, and search strategies.\n\nPersonally source, assess, and close top talent.\n\nBuild the talent roadmap to help Hyperbolic scale and help balance hiring priorities across different functions.\n\nDesign end-to-end talent engine with structured interviews, scorecards, and decision frameworks.\n\nServe as a trusted partner to the founders and hiring managers on candidate strategy, leveling, and offer construction\n\nStand up the tooling, data, and pipeline visibility we need to run 60+ hires per year without dropping quality\n\nManage the recruiting team, recruiting resources and hiring partners efficiently.\n\nBuild Hyperbolic’s employer brand and make Hyperbolic an exciting place to work at.\n\nWho You Are\nYou have 10+ years of recruiting experience, including ownership of a recruiting function in a high-growth company.\n\nYou have successfully hired technical talent across infrastructure, distributed systems, AI/ML, cloud, or developer tools.\n\nYou are a hands-on recruiter who enjoys sourcing and closing, not only managing.\n\nYou have built or meaningfully improved recruiting processes, systems, and metrics.\n\nYou can understand complex technology and engage credibly with senior technical candidates.\n\nYou use data and market intelligence to improve hiring decisions.\n\nYou exercise strong judgment and can challenge leaders constructively.\n\nYou thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and take ownership from strategy through execution.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience at a neocloud, hyperscaler, AI lab, GPU cloud, or infrastructure company.\n\nExperience as the first or early Talent hire at a venture-backed startup.\n\nA strong network across AI and infrastructure talent.\n\nHyperbolic is an equal opportunity employer.
