Join us in building a platform that empowers innovators everywhere to turn their visionary AI projects into reality.\nAbout the Role\nWe're scaling from roughly 30 to 70-100 people over the next 6-12 months, and most of those hires are engineers. As our Technical Recruiter, you'll own full-cycle searches for infrastructure, distributed systems, AI/ML and GPU cloud roles. You'll report to our Head of Talent and partner directly with founders and engineering leaders. This is a hands-on role: you'll spend most of your time sourcing, engaging and closing great technical talent, and you'll help shape the recruiting engine as we build it.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn full-cycle recruiting for engineering and technical roles, from intake to signed offer.\n\nRun intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles and search strategy.\n\nProactively source passive candidates across LinkedIn, GitHub, open-source communities, research papers, conferences and referrals.\n\nWrite compelling outreach and pitch Hyperbolic's mission and technical challenges to senior engineers.\n\nScreen candidates for technical fit, motivation and culture add, and keep hiring managers calibrated on the market.\n\nCoordinate structured interview loops, gather scorecard feedback and drive timely hiring decisions.\n\nManage offers and closing, partnering with the Head of Talent on leveling and compensation.\n\nDeliver a fast, thoughtful candidate experience at every stage.\n\nKeep pipeline data clean in our ATS (Ashby) and report on funnel health, time-to-hire and source effectiveness.\n\nHelp build employer brand in the AI and infrastructure community through events, content and referrals.\n\nWho You Are\n3-6 years of technical recruiting experience, ideally including time at a high-growth startup or tech company.\n\nA track record of hiring engineers in infrastructure, distributed systems, cloud, AI/ML or developer tools.\n\nA strong, creative sourcer who enjoys finding and engaging passive talent.\n\nEnough technical fluency to hold credible conversations with senior engineers and understand what makes them great.\n\nSkilled at managing a full requisition load while keeping hiring managers aligned and moving quickly.\n\nData-minded: you use funnel metrics and market intel to adjust your approach.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, with a talent for selling a mission.\n\nComfortable with ambiguity, high ownership and building process while you execute.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience recruiting at an AI lab, neocloud, hyperscaler, GPU cloud or infrastructure company.\n\nEarly recruiting hire at a venture-backed startup.\n\nAn existing network across AI, ML and infrastructure engineering talent.\n\nHands-on experience with Ashby or a similar modern ATS, plus sourcing tools and AI-assisted search.\n\nFamiliarity with open-source communities.\n\nHyperbolic is an equal opportunity employer.
