We want someone who spots opportunities, challenges existing processes and proactively researches, tests and builds solutions.\nYou'll own our DTC technology ecosystem, lead our ecommerce function and act as an internal AI enabler, helping teams across Growth, CRM, Operations and Finance unlock efficiencies through smarter use of technology.\nYou don't need to be a developer or AI engineer, but you should be comfortable getting hands-on, experimenting with new tools and turning ideas into practical solutions within our existing infrastructure.\nOwn the platforms. Build smarter ways of working.\nWhat you'll own\nAI Enablement & Innovation\nChampion AI adoption, proactively identifying opportunities to improve how teams operate.\n\nResearch, test and implement AI tools, workflows and automation solutions.\n\nBuild practical solutions using existing platforms, APIs, no-code/low-code tools and AI-assisted development.\n\nSupport teams with implementation, training and adoption, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and deliver measurable value.\n\nStay curious about emerging technology and continually challenge how we work.\n\nDigital Platforms & Integrations\nOwn Shopify and our wider DTC ecosystem, including Fulfil, subscription, CRM, payments and analytics.\n\nEnsure systems are stable, connected and scalable, with accurate data flowing between platforms.\n\nIndependently investigate technical challenges, research solutions and manage external specialists where needed.\n\nIdentify opportunities to simplify our technology stack, automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.\n\nEcommerce & Performance\nLead and develop our Ecommerce Executive, ensuring strong day-to-day trading and execution.\n\nOwn our CRO and development agency relationship, prioritising activity against commercial opportunities.\n\nDrive improvements in conversion, UX, merchandising and customer journeys across our international markets.\n\nEnsure ecommerce tracking, data and reporting foundations support informed decision-making.\n\nAbout you\nWe're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys building, problem-solving and making things happen.\nNaturally curious: You're genuinely excited by AI and emerging technology, actively experimenting with what's possible.\n\nA self-starter: You spot opportunities, take initiative and don't wait for someone to tell you what needs improving.\n\nHands-on and resourceful: Your instinct is to investigate, research and find a solution, not immediately outsource the problem.\n\nTechnically confident: You're comfortable navigating Shopify, integrations, APIs, data flows and automation tools.\n\nCommercially minded: You understand ecommerce performance and prioritise solutions that deliver genuine business value.\n\nAn enabler: You enjoy sharing knowledge, developing others and helping teams adopt better ways of working.\n\nAdaptable: You thrive in an ambitious, fast-moving business where not everything comes with a predefined process.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience across ecommerce, digital platforms or technology, ideally within DTC.\n\nStrong Shopify experience, ideally Shopify Plus and Markets.\n\nDemonstrable experience implementing AI, automation or technology-led improvements.\n\nUnderstanding of ecommerce integrations, APIs, data and wider technology ecosystems.\n\nExperience managing external development partners and at least one direct report.\n\nStrong commercial understanding of ecommerce, CRO and customer journeys.\n\nBonus points: Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, Make, Zapier, Fulfil, subscription ecommerce or building AI workflows and agents.\nWe're more interested in what you've independently explored, built and implemented than how many tools you can list on your CV.\nWhat success looks like\nAI and automation are actively adopted, delivering measurable efficiencies across the business.\n\nManual processes are reduced through smarter, connected solutions.\n\nOur ecommerce platforms and data infrastructure are stable and scalable.\n\nConversion and customer experience continue to improve across markets.\n\nTeams see you as their go-to person for solving challenges through technology.\n\nYou're consistently bringing ideas, challenging processes and turning opportunities into action.\n\nBenefits\nRewarding salary + 10% bonus\n\nHybrid working, with 2 days per week in our Manchester office\n\nCompany trips abroad\n\nMonthly socials\n\nMonthly staff order allowance\n\n40% off for friends and family\n\nFast career development\n\nAn opportunity to grow with one of the most exciting brands in the UK!\n\nIf this sounds like you then hit apply or email Leah  to find out more!\nAt Hairburst, diversity and inclusion are at the core of our values.
