Role : Agentic Systems Architect
We are looking for an experienced Agentic Systems Architect to design software architectures and AI-enabled engineering systems that allow LLMs and autonomous agents to safely understand, modify, test, and deploy production applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design agent-operable system architectures with clear, modular, and well-defined service boundaries.
- Modernize legacy applications by decomposing monolithic systems into modular and maintainable components.
- Apply Strangler Pattern, SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, and Hexagonal Architecture to support safe modernization.
- Design and maintain agent context layers, including standardized Skills, Rules, Commands, and AI-driven engineering workflows.
- Build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose APIs, services, and databases as secure, structured tools for AI agents.
- Design contract-first APIs that enable reliable communication between human requirements, software systems, and autonomous agents.
- Establish architectural standards for AI-assisted development and review AI-generated code for security, scalability, quality, and maintainability.
- Implement and promote TDD, characterization testing, automated validation, and regression prevention during modernization and agent-assisted development.
- Monitor and optimize agentic workflows to improve reliability, execution efficiency, cost, and performance.
- Identify architectural risks associated with autonomous software development and implement appropriate controls and safeguards.
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and product teams to integrate agentic capabilities into software development workflows.
- Provide technical leadership on architecture decisions, modernization initiatives, and AI-enabled engineering practices.
Required Skills :
- 10 - 20 years of experience in software architecture, platform engineering, or technical leadership.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, .NET, and Node.js.
- Proven experience modernizing complex legacy systems.
- Strong knowledge of API design, distributed systems, microservices, and modular architecture.
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, and Hexagonal Architecture.
- Practical experience with Agentic AI, LLM tooling, MCP, or AI-assisted software development.
- Strong understanding of software testing, security, scalability, and architectural governance.
- Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have :
- Hands-on experience building MCP servers.
- Experience with autonomous coding agents and LLM-based engineering tools.
- Experience designing AI guardrails and agent governance frameworks.
- Experience with legacy application modernization and incremental migration strategies.
