product group optimisation plans (Value Creation Plan) for the procurement department, connected with, for example, the application of potential analyzes, the creation of tenders, the application of commercial as well as technical purchasing levers or the support of make-or-buy decisions\nIn your role you are also responsible for the development of our analysts and junior consultants on the projects\nYour profile\nA completed master’s degree from a well-known university or even better: an MBA or PhD\n5 years of professional experience with another management consultancy or in the procurement department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience\nA deep and fundamental understanding of procurement and experience in areas such as category management, commodity group strategies, material cost reduction, negotiations and supplier days\nIdeally, you also have specific expert knowledge in one or more indirect or direct product groups, e.g. in the area of raw materials, plastics, electronics or mechanical parts\nExperience in leading procurement initiatives and managing a large number of procurement measures\nYou are fluent in English,
