Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.\nI2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support ongoing activities for a cutomer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.\nPart of development of new system concepts by transforming stakeholder needs, acquired through documentation and solicitation, into easily reviewable technical approaches.\nPerform requirements elicitation and decomposition using behavioral artifacts such as use cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams to convey understanding of the required behaviors and performance of the system under development.\nPart of team to develop physical and logical system models capturing the system under development utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools.\nSystem interface development, as captured in Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), by converting system and interface requirements into message-level details sufficient to coordinate interface development.\nSupport formal and informal engineering technical reviews.\nCreate, review and critique interface documents, system requirements, verification documentation, architectural documentation, and engineering estimates.\nInterface with key stakeholders, including the customer and working-level counterparts, as-required.\nParticipate in Agile development planning and execution, including iteration planning and status reporting.\nQualifications\nA final secret clearance is required for consideration.\n5 years of professional experience\nExperience in an integrated team, covering the full Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle.\nDOORS\nProven experience interacting directly with customers to elicit needs and define requirements.\nHands on work with missile defense, space defense (Space Domain Awareness), or other similar space mission elements.\nProficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using tools such as Cameo, etc.\nMicrosoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel knowledge\nExperience producing tooling and products to assist the with the analysis or assessment of a system or project is desired \nExperience with DevOps related tooling (Jenkins, HTCondor, GitLab, etc) is desired\nExperience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable\nExperience with creating and briefing chart packages for tooling or analysis performed\nEssential Requirements:\nUS Citizenship is required.\nIn compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed .
