This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.\nDesigns and plans network communications systems. \nProvides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. \nProvides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. \nConducts testing of network design. \nMaintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. \nEvaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.\nResearch vendor recommended quarterly patches for Network devices (Cisco Switch, Cisco firewall, Juniper firewall, Palo Alto firewall)\nPerform quarterly network patch integration and system testing in lab environment\nUpdate content in Gitlab for quarterly deliveries (Configurations, Licenses, IOS files)\nWrite and edit quarterly network installation instructions for delivery to Operations\nInstall quarterly network device patches in lab and Operational environments\nCreate, update and provide justifications for network device cyber security STIG checklists\nProvide network support for Cyber Vulnerability Testing (Access, Connectivity and checklists)\nTrack, acquire and install firewall license files\nTroubleshoot Operational and lab environments for network device outages and anomalies\nProvide training for network device installations and troubleshooting tasks\nQualifications\nActive Secret clearance\nBachelor's degree with 7 years of professional experience\nSec+ Certification required\nHands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure. \nExperience developing network architecture, detailed network diagrams, implementation plans, and configuration documentation. \nDemonstrated experience building and deploying network infrastructure from design through implementation, configuration, testing, and operational turnover.\nHands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco, and/or Juniper platforms.\nHands-on experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL/Linux systems, including system patching, package management, service management, log analysis, permissions, and basic networking.\nExperience with firewall policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, security zones, and access-control rules.\nDemonstrated experience applying DoD security hardening requirements to network infrastructure.\nExperience implementing, validating, and documenting DISA STIG requirements for network devices.\nExperience developing and executing patch/test plans, including rollback procedures and validation testing.\nDemonstrated ability to produce clear technical documentation, implementation procedures, configuration documentation, test plans, and troubleshooting guides.\nExperience troubleshooting network devices following software/firmware upgrades.\nStrong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, ARP, and subnetting.\nExperience troubleshooting network connectivity using packet captures and network diagnostic tools.\nGitLab exposure/experience \nExperience developing or modifying scripts to automate network administration, configuration management, validation, or operational tasks.\nProficiency with at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\nNAS management \nCCNA, Net+ CCNP, PCNSE certifications highly preferred\nAdditional Information: In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed.
