Team members who like to grow their skill sets while solving challenging, real world business problems thrive at i4DM.\nAbout the Rolei4DM is seeking a Pega Solutions Engineer with experience developing enterprise Pega based solutions to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business. We need a team member who is ready to translate customers’ IT needs and future goals into technological solutions with Pega. We have several large projects, some established, some just getting started, at the Department of Veterans Affairs and i4DM needs smart team members to help us deliver! The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. All projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions!\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nYou will work and collaborate on a team of project managers, business analysts, developers/engineers, and QA staff within an Agile DevSecOps environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will also be expected to interface with client representatives. Our team member will:\n\nDesign, architect, and develop Pega-based solutions, prioritizing features and sub-features with testable acceptance criteria\n\nDesign and implement solutions with Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define clear acceptance criteria for each feature\n\nLeverage PaaS/SaaS applications and cloud-based infrastructure to design and implement scalable and flexible Pega applications\n\nDevelop and maintain a solid understanding of data models and effectively utilize them in Pega solution design\n\nDesign and implement robust APIs to enable seamless integration between Pega applications and other systems\n\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in Pega development\n\nConduct code reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing Pega applications for performance and scalability\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure alignment with VA-specific goals\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, data models, and API specifications\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n5+ years of experience with solution architecture in IT environments\n\n3+ years of experience developing and implementing Pega PaaS/SaaS solutions\n\nExperience working on Pega tools like Pega Log Analyzer (PLA), System Management Application (SMA), Intro scope, Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC).\n\nExperience with direct client engagement to elicit business and technical needs\n\nExperience with prioritizing features and sub-features with testable acceptance criteria\n\nExperience with designing large scale solutions and architectures that support thousands of users\n\nExperience in projecting future level of effort based on exposure and solution success\n\nExperience designing and supporting implementation of technical architecture for PaaS and/or SaaS applications\n\nKnowledge of Cloud, DevSecOps, API strategies, data models, low-code/no-code solutions, mainframe systems, microservices architectures, and custom application development technologies\n\nAbility to lead other technical subject matter experts to integrate their domain expertise into the solution design process\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements\n\nHS diploma or GED\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, BASED ON SPECIFIC ROLE\nPega Senior System Architect certification is strongly preferred\n\nExperience in the Federal Government,
