We need a team member who is ready to plan, execute, and automate testing of Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support the missions of our federal customers. This is a specialized role for a tester who knows the Power Platform inside and out - from canvas and model-driven apps to Power Automate flows, Dataverse, custom connectors, and the APIs that tie them together.\nThe successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, inquisitive problem solver who can quickly understand business requirements and translate them into thorough, repeatable test coverage. In this fully remote role, you will validate workflows and functionality across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure Government; build automated tests with Power Apps Test Studio, Power Apps Test Engine, and Playwright; and verify that every user persona sees and does exactly what their security role allows. Your work will give product owners clear, actionable reporting on quality and readiness for release.\nYou will work and collaborate on a team of project managers, business analysts, developers/engineers, and QA staff within an Agile environment. As a crucial member of our team, you will also be expected to interface with client representatives, including product owners, business owners, technical leads, and solution architects.\nResponsibilities\nValidate requirements by testing workflows and functionality using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Azure Government, APIs, and Dataverse.\nDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, and test results that provide actionable reporting to product owners and stakeholders.\nExecute testing activities for functionality, integrations, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nRecord, build, and run UI tests for canvas apps using Power Apps Test Studio and Power Fx expressions.\nCreate and maintain automated test plans using Power Apps Test Engine (YAML/Power Fx test plans, connector mocking) with Playwright and the Power Platform CLI.\nUse Playwright and/or Selenium for deeper UI, browser-based, and model-driven app regression testing.\nTest custom connectors and validate Dataverse Web API endpoints using Postman or other REST clients.\nUse Power Platform Monitor to debug apps in real time and inspect network calls, formula errors, and data flow behavior.\nTest Power Automate cloud flows, including triggers, conditions, approvals, error handling, and connection behavior.\nPerform role-based persona testing to validate security roles, business units, team and field-level security, and access requirements.\nValidate functionality and data integrity during migrations from on-premises systems to cloud services.\nDocument, track, prioritize, and drive resolution of defects in partnership with developers and product owners.\nValidate solution deployments across development, test, and production environments.\nVerify that applications meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.\nDevelop and maintain test documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).\nTAG: #LI-I4DM\nTAG: INDMJC\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field, or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in software quality assurance and testing\nMinimum of three (3) years of on-the-job experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse\nHands-on experience with Power Apps Test Studio and/or Power Apps Test Engine\nExperience with Playwright or Selenium for browser-based test automation\nExperience testing REST APIs, custom connectors, and Dataverse Web API endpoints using Postman or similar tools\nExperience using Power Platform Monitor to troubleshoot app behavior, network calls, and formula errors\nExperience with role-based persona testing and security access requirements\nExperience developing and executing test plans for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing\nExperience documenting, tracking, and managing defects in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps\nFamiliarity with migration from on-premises to cloud services\nMinimum two (2) years of experience working in an Agile framework\nAbility to communicate complex concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nMilitary experienced candidates are encouraged\nCandidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired\nWork is full-time 100% remote\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing in Microsoft Azure Government cloud environments\nProficiency with Power Fx and the Power Platform CLI (pac)\nExperience writing Playwright tests in JavaScript or TypeScript\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)\nExperience with Power Platform ALM, including managed solutions and environment strategy\nExperience with Section 508 accessibility testing tools (e.g., ANDI, axe)\nMicrosoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-900;
