You'll identify process and control gaps, produce the SOPs and training material Finance is currently missing, and deliver a prioritised remediation plan that feeds into next year's roadmap.\nWhat you'll do\nSpeak to every person in Finance to understand their day-to-day responsibilities and activities\nBuild frameworks documenting how processes are currently done, including dependencies and non-Workday activities across teams\nCapture annual and quarterly activities (e.g. audit, transfer pricing) and ad hoc processes (e.g. new company or new bank account set-up)\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes and collaboration between teams and systems\nWrite SOPs and work with our Change Manager to create the training material\nGive Finance a clear, prioritised view of the gaps and their full scale\nWhat you’ll bring\nAbility to enquire and dig deep to map out processes and issues (the most important quality)\nAbility to spot opportunities to improve processes and collaboration between teams and systems\nComfortable interviewing everyone in Finance and turning those conversations into documented frameworks\nIdeally, experience of finance processes, specifically R2R, P2P and O2C\nPlus points\nFinance transformation experience (a big plus)\nWorkday Financials experience is not required, as the focus is on general processes\nWhat’s in it for you\nMiQ is incredibly proud to foster a welcoming culture.
