This role partners closely with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, data-driven, and aligned with company profitability objectives. The position serves as the technical expert for quoting systems and advanced cost modeling tools, driving continuous improvement, automation, and standardization across the quote development process.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Quoting Systems & Technology\nAdminister, maintain, and enhance advanced quoting software, databases, and cost modeling tools.\nDevelop and implement automated quoting solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency.\nCreate and maintain standardized quote templates, workflows, and reporting tools.\nSupport integration between quoting systems and ERP, manufacturing, engineering, and financial systems.\nTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate corrective actions with IT and business stakeholders.\nCost Modeling & Analysis\nDevelop and maintain detailed product, process, and manufacturing cost models.\nAnalyze material, labor, overhead, tooling, capital, logistics, and supplier costs to support quote development.\nValidate assumptions and ensure accuracy of costing methodologies.\nConduct sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to assess quoting risks and opportunities.\nSupport margin analysis and profitability reviews.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and Program Management teams to gather quote inputs.\nFacilitate quote reviews and ensure alignment of assumptions across functional areas.\nSupport launch and handoff activities following awarded business.\nProvide technical guidance and training to quoting users and stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to streamline quoting processes and eliminate manual activities.\nDevelop dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor quoting effectiveness and performance.\nDrive standardization and best practices across all quoting activities.\nSupport implementation of AI, automation, digital manufacturing, and advanced analytics solutions within the quoting process.\nData & Reporting\nMaintain quoting databases and historical cost information.\nGenerate management reports regarding quote status, win/loss analyses, profitability trends, and quoting performance metrics.\nSupport data governance and ensure integrity of quoting information.\nQualifications Education\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, product costing, engineering, operations, quoting, or related functions.\nExperience with injection mold manufacturing cost models and quoting systems.\nExperience supporting new business acquisition activities.\nFamiliarity with ERP and business intelligence tools.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced knowledge of injection mold deigns and manufacturing processes and cost drivers.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data analysis tools.\nExperience with quoting, ERP, PLM, or manufacturing systems.\nKnowledge of automation, workflow tools, and
