The Commercial Financial Analyst serves as a key contributor in customer profitability analysis, quote support, and financial reporting by utilizing data-driven analysis to support sound business decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyze customer, product, and program profitability.\nPrepare financial models, forecasts, and business case analyses.\nSupport monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.\nMonitor key financial metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\nDevelop ad hoc analyses for commercial and operational leadership.\nCommercial Support\nAssist in evaluating customer RFQs, pricing requests, and engineering changes.\nSupport development of customer quotations and pricing models.\nAnalyze customer pricing targets and profitability impacts.\nParticipate in commercial reviews and customer business assessments.\nSupport commercial recovery and margin improvement initiatives.\nForecasting & Planning\nAssist with budgeting and forecasting activities related to sales and customer programs.\nTrack revenue, pricing, and margin performance against plan.\nReview assumptions and provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.\nSupport long-range financial planning activities.\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with Commercial, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, and Program Management teams.\nProvide financial guidance to support decision making on customer opportunities and operational initiatives.\nAssist in identifying cost savings and profitability improvement opportunities.\nSupport implementation of new processes and analytical tools.\nData Management & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain financial databases, reports, and analytical models.\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data.\nSupport automation and process improvement initiatives.\nDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into commercial performance.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.\nExperience\n1-3 years of finance, accounting, pricing, commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis experience.\nInternship or co-op experience in finance or accounting preferred.\nManufacturing or automotive industry experience is a plus.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills.\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.\nAbility to build financial models and perform quantitative
