support to plants regarding health and safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, property loss and prevention and recycling\n· Manage the Hazardous Waste Program in compliance with federal, state and local laws\n· Interacts effectively with outside agencies to achieve world class safety and health performance\n· Communicates effectively with plant management to review supported areas listed within this list\n· Analyses injury/illness data to determine root cause, trends and implement suggest corrective action(s)\n· Adheres to applicable quality and environment system requirements ISO 14001 work instructions and procedures\n· Complete periodic statistical trending and reporting and provide aggregate data to support groups as needed\n· Assist plans in achieving corporate set goals\n· Implement and monitor systems for incident prevention\n· Assist in research and selection of EHS vendors and consultants\n· Assist in review of EHS training programs, provide assistance in correcting deficiencies, recommend and/or provide training courses\n· Ensure compliance with corporate mandated safety program\n· Maintain compliance with all environmental permits including Title V Air Quality permit\n· Conduct facility safety audits, industrial hygiene surveys for noise and chemical exposure hazards\n· Oversee plant(s) Medical First Aid Program with respect to written procedures for first aid practices\n· Provide Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager with regular reports of assigned plants activities\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation:\n· BS/BA in Environmental, Health and Safety Management or closely related field\nExperience:\n· Requires 5-8 years' experience in EHS\n· ISO 14001 experience required\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\n· Able to work well in a team environment\n· Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail\n· Good verbal and written communication skills\nOSHA 10/30\nCSP (Certified Safety Professional)\nASP (Associate Safety Professional)\nISO 14001
