This position supports injection molding machines of various tonnage ranges, automated paint line systems, assembly and secondary equipment, robotics, material handling systems, and facility infrastructure.\nThe ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills and can work independently to diagnose and repair equipment issues while maintaining a safe work environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment, including: \nInjection molding machines of varying tonnage capacities\nAutomated paint line equipment\nAssembly line and secondary operation equipment\nAuxiliary processing equipment\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.\nRespond promptly to machine and equipment breakdowns.\nInstall, modify, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment drawings.\nTroubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated systems.\nRepair or replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, belts, pumps, valves, gears, cylinders, and actuators.\nPerform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, PM documentation, and work orders.\nAssist with equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvement projects.\nEnsure compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.\nMaintain housekeeping standards in maintenance areas and throughout the facility.\nWork flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as required.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience maintaining injection molding equipment and auxiliary systems preferred, but not required.\nStrong troubleshooting skills in: \nMechanical systems\nElectrical systems\nHydraulics\nPneumatics\nAutomation equipment\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance diagnostic equipment.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and kneel throughout the shift.\nLift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance when required.\nWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and moving equipment.\nAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.\nCore Competencies\nSafety Focused\nPreventative Maintenance Expertise\nMechanical Aptitude\nElectrical Troubleshooting\nProblem Solving\nAttention to Detail\nReliability and Dependability\nTeamwork and Communication\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\nWork Environment\nThis position works in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility supporting injection molding operations, automated paint systems, assembly operations, robotics, and associated production equipment.
