Operate crane and forklift safely\n2. Disassembles, assembles, inspects, cleans and polishes molds. Use skill and care when polishing critical surfaces.\n3. Disassembles and repairs Hot Runner and hydraulic actuated molds. Must be familiar with electrical and hydraulic circuits using diagrams, blueprints and electrical circuit test meters and methods.\n4. Reassemble and rewire molds.\n5. Execute lathe, mill and surface grinders machining components.\n6. Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.\n7. Performs mold repair work with hand tools, hand grinders, and stones supervised by Sr. tooling tech or onsite toolmaker.\n8. Reworks and constructs machine parts with hand tools.\n9. Weld spot molds and other projects as needed.\n10. Assists Sr. tooling tech or onsite toolmaker on set ups and operations as needed.\n11. Fill out PM records\n12. Understand PM schedule for timely scheduled maintenance\n13. Maintains inventory of Tool Room PM components and supplies.\n14. Observes all health and safety requirements and maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.\n15. All other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nI understand I have the authority to conduct my job as defined in this job description and in the event that a portion of my duties cannot be achieved, I have the authority to bring this matter to the attention of my immediate Supervisor/Manager.\nSkills:\nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprint readings.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to use precision measuring instruments and ability to use advanced shop math\nOTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Computer experience required to maintain mold status. Must have the ability to get along with coworkers and work in a team environment. Detail oriented.\nMinimum of 3 years experience being involved/hands on with Injection Molds.\nStrong Mechanical knowledge. 2 Years Crane experience a must.\nMachining capabilities is required (Manual Milling Machines, Manual Lathes and surface grinding )\nExperience with Electrical and Hydraulics.\nTig Welding is required.
