Join us at our globally recognised logistics business, that is Trusted to Deliver.\nAbout the role\nThe Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that new technology and processes meet the needs of the business and its people through creating fit-for-purpose solutions which integrate seamlessly with existing technology and processes. You’ll help drive consensus between a wide range of business stakeholders to underpin the delivery of organisational objectives.\nIn this role, you will focus on the opportunity to order technology, processes, compliance, and operations, as well as operational excellence and scalability within the projects assigned.\nAs a Business Analyst, you’ll perform data analysis and conduct a consistent review of data metrics to guide decision-making and enhancements to support scalability and efficiencies.\nWhat you’ll do\nWork with the accountable project manager, business subject matter experts and technical leads to ensure that the product is fit for purpose (against to be business processes).\n\nAnalyse processes and technology tools as they are (as-is), compare them to the future and improved designs (to-be) and determine the necessary changes for arriving at the improved state.\n\nDocument process information using visual diagrams in the form of business process models (using the Business Process Management Notation or the Flowchart Notation).\n\nDesign business processes (to-be) and manage any subsequent changes to them.\n\nExamine processes holistically to understand the impact of changing them on people, strategy, systems and general business operations.\n\nCoordinate business processes signoffs on behalf of the accountable project manager.\n\nTogether with the test manager design a test plan based on business processes and scenarios, Undertake hands on testing when appropriate.\n\nWork with the Training Team to identify any specific training points and/or validate training materials.\n\nLiaise between various business departments and groups.\n\nAssess options for process improvement, including business process modelling.\n\nMaintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations.\n\nCollaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.\n\nIt's all about you\nWhat you’ll bring to IAG Cargo:\nStrong skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering.\n\nExperience of Robotic Process Automation is advantageous.\n\nExcellent command of English (essential) and Spanish (preferable).\n\nStrong analytical and reporting skills.\n\nExperience facilitating workshops and focus groups.\n\nStrong business/client engagement skills.\n\nExperience developing business requirements.\n\nExperience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations.\n\nHigh level of competence with MS Office and MS Visio.\n\nAbility to communicate at all levels.\n\nStrong planning and organisational skills.\n\nStrong Team player.\n\nDemonstrates resilience and comfortable with ambiguity.\n\nCustomer oriented.\n\nPassionate for continuous improvement.\n\nAbility to make constructive challenge.\n\nAbility to identify key issues and enact a mitigation plan.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.\n\nResourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems.\n\nSkills and Experience:\nMinimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.\n\nSupplier and stakeholder management.\n\nDemonstrable understanding of technology-driven change management.\n\nDesktop packages including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, etc.\n\nClear understanding of risk and issue management processes.\n\nKnowledge of project management tools and techniques.\n\nRobotic Process Automation (specifically UiPath technologies).\n\nWe’ll treat you right\nWherever you work within IAG Cargo, you’ll play a part in helping us deliver what the world needs and join a diverse and inclusive business that’s making a difference.\nAs well as a competitive salary, bonus, we offer a range of benefits to support our colleagues, which include:\nA hybrid environment with 3 days a week in the office and two from home.\n\nFrom the day you join us, you’ll get access to brilliant staff travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on British Airways and group airlines.
