Acting as the bridge between strategic architecture and operational delivery, you will help guide the evolution of IAG's network and security capabilities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology priorities.\nWorking closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and strategic technology partners, you will provide technical leadership across key initiatives, influence technology direction and investment decisions, and drive the adoption of modern networking, security, cloud, and automation capabilities. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne).\nWhat You'll Do\nDefine and evolve network and security strategies, target architectures, technology roadmaps, and modernisation plan that support business and technology objectives.\nProvide architecture leadership and hands-on solution design across network, cloud, and security initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic outcomes.\nEstablish and govern architecture standards, reusable patterns, and security guardrails across network connectivity, cloud networking, segmentation, firewalls, remote access, and Zero Trust capabilities.\nPartner with Product, Operations, Engineering, and Managed Service Providers to improve service reliability, observability, automation, lifecycle management, and operational resilience.\nProvide governance, technical risk assessment, and architecture oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational requirements.\nInfluence technology strategy, vendor decisions, and investment priorities while providing thought leadership across architecture, cyber security, and technology communities.\nWhat You'll Bring\nExtensive experience in Network, Security, Infrastructure, Solution, or Domain Architecture within a large and complex enterprise environment.\nStrong expertise across enterprise networking and security technologies including WAN/LAN, cloud networking, network segmentation, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, secure remote access, and Zero Trust architectures.\nProven experience developing architecture strategies, target state roadmaps, standards, reference architectures, and migration plans.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and architectural trade-offs to senior leaders and business stakeholders.\nExperience improving operational readiness, resilience, observability, automation, and service outcomes in partnership with engineering and operational teams.\nKnowledge of architecture and security frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, NIST, ISO27001, ITIL, or CIS Controls.
