In this role, you will be responsible for operating and supporting a state-of-the-art Automated Assembly Cell consisting of four Fanuc industrial robots that produce pipe hanger clevises. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, cell efficiency, and product quality.\nHow You Will Help\nCell Operation & Component Feeding\nLoad and feed raw components - including clevis tops, clevis bottoms, bolts, and nuts - into the automated assembly cell in accordance with production schedules and work instructions.\nMonitor the cell during operation to ensure consistent, uninterrupted component supply and alert supervision of any feed or flow interruptions.\nInspect incoming components for defects or non-conformances prior to feeding the cell.\nPackaging & Material Handling\nConstruct and stage corrugated cardboard shipping/storage boxes for the robotic cell to deposit finished clevis assemblies into.\nEnsure boxes are properly labeled, sized, and positioned at designated output stations.\nRemove completed boxes from the cell, verify counts, and transfer to downstream staging or shipping areas.\nSizing Changeovers\nPerform product sizing changeovers as directed, which include:\nSwapping clevis top and bottom components for alternate sizes\nChanging bolt and nut sizes to match the active production order\nReplacing and securing 8 tooling fixtures within the cell\nAdjusting entrance conveyor lane guides to accommodate different component dimensions\nExecute changeovers efficiently and accurately using provided setup sheets and tooling to minimize downtime.\nQuality & Safety\nPerform visual and dimensional quality checks on assembled clevises per established inspection criteria.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards.\nFollow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when performing changeovers or any work near the cell.\nReport equipment faults, robot alarms, or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.\nDocumentation\nRecord production counts, downtime events, and changeover times accurately on shift logs or electronic systems as required.\nWhat You Will Bring\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAbility to read and follow written work instructions, setup sheets, and safety procedures\nBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in proximity to automated industrial equipment\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly\nReliable attendance and a team-oriented work ethic\nPreferred\nPrior experience working in an automated manufacturing or assembly environment\nExperience with industrial robotics, particularly Fanuc robot systems (operating HMI panels, responding to fault/alarm conditions, basic teach pendant familiarity)\nExperience performing production changeovers or tooling swaps\nFamiliarity with conveyor-fed assembly
