The position analyzes cost, quality, and delivery to ensure competitive performance that is consistent with the organization’s policies and standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceives quote requests from Customer Service Representatives in an assigned territory for required materials\nAnalyzes quotes and negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to obtain competitive sources with respect to cost, quality, delivery and service\nUpdates weekly meetings with order and quote totals from the previous week\nFollows up on orders placed with vendors\nAnalyzes and reviews stock orders for proper quantities prior to placement\nProcures tracking on all stock orders and drop shipments placed\nAssists in maintaining inventory accuracy by removing C-items and obtaining RMA’s \nMaintains weekly quote logs on all inquiries and reports the breakdown\nAnalyzes and reviews the SAC102 report before placing all stock orders with vendors\nReports all discrepancies and/or issues to the vendors in a timely manner and follows up as needed\nReviews weekly backorder reports from vendors and expedites shipping to the warehouse\nPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
