You may be responsible for reading blueprints, fabrication/welding, tooling repair, designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.\nKey Responsibilities\nTool and die blueprint reading\nMechanical knowledge\nFabrication/welding\nFamiliar with Injection Molding\nManufacturing repair\nTooling repair\nPrecision measuring instrument\nRepairing molds\nOperating grinding and milling machines\nTear down, clean, assemble after fix, clean, polish\nGrind, mill & lathe\nVisualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances\nDesigning jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts\nMeasuring and marking metal stock for machining\nSetting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines\nFiling, grinding, shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish\nFitting and assembling tools and mold parts\nInspecting finished dies and molds for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities\nAll other duties/tasks as assigned\nAdditional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
