To achieve this objective, you will own the following activities in your assigned DCs and local branches: 1) Receiving Administration along with Reconciliation Oversight 2) cycle account administration, reporting, and troubleshooting, 3) inventory optimization via redistribution, 4) customer return inventory evaluation, 5) special request management, 6) manufacturing order review/release 7) continuous improvement activities. This role will evolve and expand as the organization continues to grow and as the network footprint and inventory stocking methodology evolve with it. The successful candidate has the desire and ability to grow and work through network changes.\nHow You Will Help:\nInventory accuracy\nCycle Count Supervision - oversee daily execution, report on progress, implement corrective actions for discrepancies.\nSupport physical inventory counts in local branches, ASC-ES Manufacturer Representative Stocking Warehouses.\nReview and resolve “zero picks” discrepancies between the system inventory and the physical inventory found at time of order picking.\nSupport receiving teams in resolving discrepancies.\nInventory optimization\nReview stocked-out items for opportunities to redistribute inventory to resolve the stock-out.\nReview excess inventory for opportunities to reduce or eliminate excess via inventory redistribution.\nSupport excess and idle scrapping programs. \n Customer return evaluation\nEvaluate proposed returns for reasonableness, avoiding returns that create excess.\nEvaluate returned product for acceptableness (e.g., saleable condition)\n Special requests\nManage inventory inspections as directed by the Engineering and Quality teams for quality concerns.\nAssist Sales with inventory issues resolution (e.g., identifying alternative ways to fill urgent backorders)\nContinuous improvement\nReview existing tools processes for efficiency and effectiveness.\nDevelop new tools and processes.\n Manufacturing Orders (MO’s)\nReview and Release MO’s for Customer Orders (MO’s for CO’s)\nIssue DO’s for any MO Bill-of-Material Shortages.\nReview and Release MO’s for Build-to-Stock needs. \n Additional duties as the role evolves\nWhat You Will Bring:\nStrong analytical, problem solving, and research skills.\nDemonstrated project management skills and ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.\nProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access); ASC-ES Warehouse Management (WMS) Experience and Infor M3 experience a plus. \nInventory Management experience desired.
