Internally, they support many departments including Product Development Engineering (PDE), Program Management Office (PMO), and inside and outside Sales.\nHow You Will Help\nAnswer technical questions on Reliable products submitted by telephone and email\nPerform technical training for Reliable personnel\nAssist with creation and maintenance of technical documentation\nMeet with customers, specifying engineers, and end users to discuss the use, features, and benefits of Reliable products\nProvide technical presentations to industry associations, customers, specifying engineers, and end users\nPlan, develop, and execute hands-on and classroom training for sprinkler system designers and fitters\nProvide input on new products and product improvements\nTroubleshoot Reliable products\n Represent Reliable at industry events (AFSA, NFPA, NFSA, SFPE, etc.)\nDirectly support sales force as necessary\n Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe conditions or practice to your supervisor\nPerforms other duties as directed\nCompetencies:\n Ability to solve complex technical problems\nOutstanding attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong customer service, interpersonal, and collaboration skills\nPossesses strong commitment to a team environment while working well independently\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\n\nWhat You Will Bring\nSkills:\nDetailed understanding of NFPA standards and FM Global Loss Prevention Data Sheets\nExtensive knowledge of all types of fire sprinkler systems as well as design and installation practices\nAbility to safely operate a pickup truck /trailer combination in excess of 15,000 lbs\nAbility to interpret construction drawings and specifications\nStrong presentation skills, including the ability to present to large groups\nProficient in Microsoft Office Software and AutoCAD\nWork Environment:\nExtensive national travel by ground or air -
