Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. \nWorks from established programs, drawings, specifications, operational data, and set-up instructions defining and coding tools, fixtures and material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings\nRecognize and report errors in programming and operations, and collaborate with the Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Departments\nSupport new product launches to include first article, RFP, and RFS production stages\nDiagnose operating difficulties and make appropriate remedial adjustments to realign the machine, change tooling, adjust offsets, recalibrate limits and repair minor tooling malfunctions, to correct operational dimensional deviations, and verifies parts after said adjustments\nEstablish, scheduling, and conduct preventative maintenance functions \nRecommends tooling applications and operational sequences to assist in formulating practical programming for new, improved, and unusual production requirements\nPerform first piece quality checks using a variety of precision measurement equipment\nMaintain proper records regarding machine maintenance, spare parts, purchases, downtime, and in process reject analysis, process history/logs, setup/changeover checklists, etc.\nIdentifies continuous improvement opportunities and project tasks to manage and implement appropriately\nResponsible for making sure the area is clean and safe by maintaining and promoting the Company’s 5S program\nPerforms other duties as directed\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy\nOutstanding organization and documentation skills\nStrong critical thinking skills using logic and analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses\nPrioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner\nExcellent verbal, written and reading comprehension skills\nPossess strong commitment to a team environment while working well with others\nWorking knowledge of calipers, indicators, volt meters, ring gauges, and other types of gauges to identify and adjust set-ups and improvement possibilities\nWell-versed in blueprints, materials, specifications, and drawings\nWell-versed in Total Predictive Management and Total Process Reliability concepts\nAbility to read and comprehend basic pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics\nAbility to troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems\nKnowledge of hand tools and large scale machines\nFamiliarity with CAD/CAM software\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nSolid understanding of mathematics and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry\nWorking knowledge of machines and computers\nKnowledge of standard safety practices\nKnowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting\n\nJob Benefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision and FSA are available the 1st of the month following your start date\n401k with company match is available 1st of the month after 90 days of employment\nCompany-provided Life Insurance is provided for you 1st of the month after 90 days of employment \n3 PTO days after 60 days of employment (hourly and non-exempt positions only) \n2 weeks of vacation after 6 months of employment\n10 paid holidays -
