While the position offers exposure to a variety of HR disciplines, the primary focus is employee relations, labor relations, compliance, and tactical HR support.\nHow You Will Help\nPartner with the HR Manager to support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution. \nServe as a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor, building strong relationships with employees, supervisors, and union representatives. \nSupport labor relations activities, including contract interpretation, grievance administration, and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements. \nManage unemployment claims, documentation, responses, and hearings as needed. \nProvide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and HR best practices. \nConduct investigations related to employee complaints, workplace concerns, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations. \nUtilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend solutions that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. \nAssist with recruitment and staffing activities, particularly for hourly manufacturing positions. \nMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. \nCollaborate with HR team members to support onboarding, benefits administration, employee communications, and other HR initiatives.\n\nWhat You Will Bring\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. \n5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. \nStrong employee relations experience, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy administration. \nExperience supporting labor relations activities within a unionized manufacturing or distribution environment. \nExperience managing unemployment claims and employee disciplinary processes. \nDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with front-line leaders and employees in a fast-paced operational environment. \nExperience utilizing HRIS/HRMS systems and workforce reporting tools. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. \nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. \nPHR or SPHR certification
