The bottom line is, we want all employees at IAT to feel like they belong.\nJob Description\nIAT Insurance Group has an opening for a Cyber Security Intern within our IT Business Unit in our Raleigh, North Carolina location for the summer of 2027. This role supports the IAT Cybersecurity Team and provides the intern an opportunity to gain practical experience protecting and defending IAT assets.\nThe internship is scheduled to begin on May 24th, 2027 and conclude on July 30th, 2027. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.\nSome of the typical projects include:\nAnalytical analysis of IAT vulnerability data,\nPhishing and Social Engineering campaign development,\nEthical Hacking,\nSecurity Threat Monitoring,\nIdentity and Access Management,\nCybersecurity Tabletop and War Gaming,\nCyber Strategy and Program Development,\nPrivacy and Data Protection\nPerform other duties as needed.\nQualifications:\nMust Have:\nMust be an undergraduate rising Junior or rising Senior student pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.\nMust be able to work out of IAT’s Raleigh, North Carolina office without housing assistance or relocation assistance from IAT Insurance Group.\nMust be able to complete the entirety of the 10-week internship program (May 24th, 2027 to July 30th, 2027).\nDesire to learn about cyber security.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nA track record of outstanding academic performance.\nEagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.\nExcellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by employer, now or in the future.\nPreferred to Have:\nCompleted coursework or related work/internship experience in cybersecurity or
