Administration team members need to be able to understand, diagnose, escalate and resolve information system issues quickly including support outside normal bank business hours. The provide support for escalated issues for desktop, help desk and IBC business units. The individual will professionally communicate technical concerns and solutions to peers, end users and management with varying degrees of technical knowledge. Systems Administrators will work with Engineers and Tier II Administrators to monitor and maintain our system infrastructure including server operating systems, Active Directory, data center hardware, and data backup systems.Job Description:\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nThe statements on this job description are intended to describe the general nature of level of work being performed by incumbents. They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.\nResponsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.\n\nInstall and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.\n\nTroubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.\n\nProvide user identity and access management, server administration and application administration for end users for MS windows, MS Exchange, O365, and various software applications\n\nPerform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures\n\nProvides escalation support for Service Desk helpdesk efforts and desktop support for PC tech, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions\n\nProvide technical support to all IBC business units\n\nExcellent communication of technical concerns and solutions to peers, end users and management with varying degrees of technical knowledge.\n\nWorks with Engineers and Tier II Administrators to monitor and maintain our system infrastructure including server operating systems, Active Directory, data center equipment and data backups.\n\nOher duties as assigned\n\nSKILLS\nMust be customer service focused\n\nGood Written and Oral communication skills with peers, managers and end users\n\nAbility to work with and support peers, end users and management in fast paced team environment.\n\nAbility to multi-task requests\n\nFlexibility to work after hours/weekends for projects, maintenance and on-call support\n\nEDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE\nAssociates Degree in IT related field or 5 years experience in Systems Administration.\n\nWindows OS Server 2012, 2016, 2019, Desktop Win 7/10. Microsoft Active Directory/Azure Active Directory. Office365 Administration. Ability to interpret system logs and alerts. Ability to interpret and modify scripting languages.
