As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial governance, planning and performance of a business responsible for delivering over £2bn of annual investment across the UK's electricity transmission network.\nWorking within our Performance & Reporting team, you'll partner with project delivery teams, regulatory stakeholders and senior management, providing financial insight that supports major infrastructure investment and helps ensure the successful delivery of our business plans.\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou'll support the preparation of annual business plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring the business has robust financial information to support decision-making. You'll produce and coordinate key monthly reporting, provide commercial support across major transmission project portfolios and help maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.\nYou'll work closely with stakeholders across project delivery, regulation and corporate functions, reviewing performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing effective challenge where required. You'll also support regulatory submissions, audit requirements and executive reporting, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered to demanding timescales.\nWhat you'll bring\nWe're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with stakeholders across a large organisation.\nYou'll bring:\nQualified Accountant status, be nearing qualification, or hold an equivalent finance-related qualification.\nStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nThe confidence to provide constructive challenge and influence decision-making.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience managing competing priorities and delivering to demanding deadlines.\nA proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.\nAn interest in working within a highly regulated environment supporting major infrastructure investment.\nWhat's in it for you\nAs well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
