This is carried out in compliance with asset policy requirements whilst also delivering improvements to existing processes to deliver the program efficiently and effectively.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nManage and support the Transmission Operations maintenance program.\nIncluding all substation assets - Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Earth switches etc.\nProvide and develop maintenance programs in accordance with associated policies and compliance documents.\nSupport the delivery of the maintenance programs with the Substation Delivery areas and Operational Engineers\nSupport management and submission of Year ahead maintenance plans and in year optimisation of scheduled outages\nProvide support and development of improvements in processes and technologies associated with maintenance.\nSupport maintenance reporting, tracking and regulatory submissions.\nContributes as an effective member and identifies way to enhance the Team’s ability to deliver its requirements\nDeliver consistent approach in project delivery and maintenance.\nFocus on continuous improvement through quality processes\nIdentify solutions to problems and the areas where performance is not on target\nTake a lead in the management of interfaces with external partners and contractors to deliver value in an efficient and a cost-effective manner\nDeliver excellent customer service to all aspects of the operation and actively promote customer service standards within area of responsibility\nWhat you’ll bring\nDegree in an appropriate Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.\nWorking towards membership of an appropriate professional institution.\nStrong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\nEnhanced knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.\nAwareness of network development policies and procedures.\nKnowledge of network and business data and network management systems.\nAbility to devise solutions to problems/challenges.\nOperational knowledge of Transmission Substation assets\nOperational site experience/authorisations\nMinimum Criteria\nFull UK Driving Licence\nEngineering degree or equivalent experience.\nExperience of project delivery within construction or electricity operations.\nAwareness of UK Health and Safety Regulations.\nCommunicating effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.\nUnderstanding and experience of substation assets maintenance requirements\nOperational site experience, maintenance and authorisations at 33kV- 400kV\nWhat’s in it for you\nAs well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
