This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the Avangrid Power Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure and Associated Applications, with emphasis on current infrastructure around Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. The successful candidate will possess a high-level of technical expertise in infrastructure architecture, maintenance, and overall systems integration.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate and support stable network and server environment.\nWork closely with the application support team to enable solid OT infrastructure. Perform, coordinate, and manage tasks to ensure business success of the application environment.\nConfigure and deploy ESXi clusters.\nConfigure and manage Windows Servers according to audit requirements.\nDesign, implement, and maintain solid information security, paying special attention to regulatory issues as regards NERC CIPs.\nCreate and perform best practices for server stability & patching, backups, test, development, and the like.\nManage SAN/NAS storage across multiple disparate devices and protocol.\nManage core vendor relationships.\nWork closely with both technical and non-technical staff to create a resilient and highly available infrastructure for systems operations.\nLight DBA efforts for SQL environments.\nAdhere to effective internal controls.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years Windows system administration or equivalent certifications.\n5+ years Microsoft Active Directory experience (Structure, GPOs, Health, etc).\n3+ years VMWare ESX administration, over multiple SAN/WAN protocols, in clustered and non-clustered environments.\n2+ years network design and troubleshooting experience (DNS, Routing, Traffic Management).\n1+ years Information Security Experience.\n1+ years telecommunications experience.\nSolid OSI model comprehension.\n5+ years in a technical support role.\nDemonstrated history of exceptional customer service Strong Microsoft product suite knowledge, with emphasis on Visio and/or other technical infrastructure documentation products.\nStrong history of managing complex efforts with demanding customers.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with or knowledge of Disaster Recovery philosophies and methodologies, including practical experience.\nExperience with or knowledge of Business Continuity philosophies and methodologies, including practical experience.\n1+ years Visual Basic Scripting Experience.\n2+ years VDI Experience.\n2+ years Veeam Experience.\n1+ years RSA SecureID Experience.\n1+ years SQL Server Administration.\n1+ years Network Appliance configuration/support (Storage Infrastructure, Caching Appliances, Operations Management, SAN protocols).\n1+ years System Center or other centralized management technologies.\n1+ years Symantec Antivirus using centralized management tools.\nAdditional Success Factors\nSelf-starter with demonstrated performance leading initiatives and building consensus at all levels of a matrixed global organization.\nAbility to foster and participate in a productive team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.\nEffectively provides and receives information orally in individual and group situations.
