The role also include to assist the Senior Finance Manager in analyzing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements and preparing budgets amongst other tasks.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintains financial records.\nEnsures that all controls related to month end closure are balanced and verified.\nProcesses accounts payable transactions as and when required. \nProcesses payment to suppliers and ensures that company accounts are paid on time.\nEnsures completeness of all required supporting documents for all payments vouchers.\nReconciles supplier accounts and statements.\nAssists the Accountant in preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly packs, year-end Financial Statements and budgets.\nHandles inquiries from internal and external sources.\nPrepares and coordinates internal and external audit assignments.\nAssists in implementation and follow up of audit recommendations.\nEnsures that all schedules are always accurate and reconciles up to the Trial Balance.\nAssists in preparation of VAT and TAX returns.\nPerforms cashier duties as and when required.\nUpdates and maintains local vendor database in a timely manner.\nMaintains Fixed Asset Register and ensures that same is updated on a timely basis.\nAny other cognate duties.\n\n Job Requirements\nPartly ACCA qualified with the minimum fundamental levels and at least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. \nStrong organizational and analytical skills \nAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure\nSelf-motivated and detail oriented\nQuick to collaborate and coordinate with team members when necessary\nStrong interpersonal
