Location: Yorktown Heights, NY, USA\nJob Type: Internship, Co-op (Fixed Term), On-site\nResponsibilities:\nDesign systems that address emerging security risks associated with AI agents and agentic applications.\nDevelop proof-of-concept implementations for security tools and systems.\nConduct experiments and evaluations of security systems and techniques.\nAnalyze experimental and other relevant data;\nDesign, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art tools and systems for securing AI agents.\nInvestigate vulnerabilities and contribute to vulnerability discovery and analysis.\nWork on system hardening and approaches that provide strong security guarantees.\nCommunicate technical ideas, research findings, and results to colleagues.\nCollaborate with research scientists, engineers, and other multidisciplinary teams.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree required.\nStrong programming skills in Python, Rust, or Go.\nExperience building, debugging, and testing software systems.\nKnowledge of systems security and software security;\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred:\nMaster's degree.\nExperience with AI agents and agentic software development.\nExperience designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments.\nKnowledge of access control and language-based security concepts.\nKnowledge of distributed systems and operating system concepts.\nBenefits and Compensation:\nProjected compensation range of $89,280 to $163,680 per year based on a full-time annual schedule.
