Job Description

Job Title: AI Security Researcher. Location: Yorktown Heights, New York, United States

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to advance AI security and cybersecurity technologies.
• Design, implement, and evaluate tools and systems that improve security operations and protect software and infrastructure.
• Analyze cybersecurity risks, networks, and systems to identify potential threats.
• Discover, analyze, triage, and help remediate vulnerabilities in software, systems, and AI agents;
• Research innovative techniques to secure AI agents and future intelligent systems against emerging threats.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research findings into products and deliver advanced security capabilities.
• Publish research findings in leading journals and conferences while contributing to next-generation security solutions.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python, Rust, TypeScript, or similar languages;
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability analysis, and security mitigation techniques.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to translate research into practical software solutions.

Preferred:

• Doctorate in a relevant field.
• Experience discovering and analyzing software vulnerabilities and developing proof-of-concept exploits.
• Experience using threat intelligence platforms and cybersecurity analysis tools.
• Experience applying machine learning techniques to cybersecurity, including anomaly detection and predictive modeling.
• Research experience in AI agents and intelligent security systems.

• Annual salary of $119,000 to $221,000, depending on experience and location.
