This internship gives you the chance to explore how good design improves the way customers, employees and users interact with products and processes. You’ll join a cohort of interns working in small cross functional teams on real client challenges within one of our consulting sectors. Supported, coached, and mentored by consultants from across the UK business throughout the programme, your team will take ownership of a standalone project, exploring ideas, solving problems and adapting as the work evolves. Because our projects are collaborative and fast moving, there isn’t one fixed role from day one. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute in different ways depending on the challenge, the client, your interests and where you can add the most value. Alongside your project work, you’ll gain exposure to different teams, consulting disciplines and ways of working across the IBM organisation. Whether your interests are in user experience, service design, research, visual communication or creative problem solving, this internship offers hands on experience working as part of a consulting project team. We work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment, where roles and responsibilities evolve organically based on the needs of each project.
