Support research and engineering activities focused on improving quantum hardware through the RESCALE initiative. Work on experimental studies related to quantum hardware systems; Contribute to investigations involving electrical and mechanical components of quantum computers. Provide weekly progress updates to senior colleagues and fellow interns. Communicate research findings, progress, and technical observations clearly. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and other team members in IBM Research. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Graduate-level student pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Expertise in cryogenics, experimental quantum computing, or a closely related field.
