At IC, Salesforce is where our sales, retention, partner and support teams work every day. We maintain a modular DX codebase, enforce clean object-oriented design patterns, build Lightning Web Components to a consistent design system, and follow strict code-quality and testing practices. If you enjoy writing clean, decoupled Apex, designing reactive and localised LWC frontends, and working in a modern Git and scratch-org workflow without legacy clutter, we’d like to hear from you.\nWhat you’ll own\nTurn requirements into technical designs, then deliver Apex and Lightning Web Components for our support, sales, KYC, trading account, payment and partner workflows.\nWork with our trigger framework and Unit of Work, query builder, collection utilities, async actions and batch frameworks.\nBuild reusable Lightning Web Components to our design system, with a custom label for every string and locale-aware formatting.\nBuild and maintain REST integrations with payload validation, resilient error handling and mockable tests.\nWrite bulkified, governor-aware code and async pipelines, and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt.\nImplement permission set groups, custom permissions, sharing and field-level security for every new feature.\nWrite deterministic tests that check behaviour, not just coverage.\nRelease through scratch orgs, pull requests and automated validation, from stage to UAT to production.\nOwn features from design to production, delivering scalable, well-documented code to our engineering standards.\nWhat you’ll need\nEssential\n3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in an enterprise org.\nStrong Apex: triggers, Queueable, Batch and Scheduled jobs, bulkification and governor limits.\nStrong LWC and modern JavaScript (ES6+): lifecycle hooks, reactivity and component composition.\nObject-oriented design: SOLID principles and common design patterns.\nREST integrations: outbound callouts, inbound Apex REST, JSON, and Named and External Credentials.\nSolid SOQL skills: selective queries, indexing and safe dynamic query generation for large data volumes.\nSalesforce DX, sf CLI, Git, GitHub and a pull-request workflow.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I certification.\nYour approach\nYou read existing code before adding to it, and your changes look like they belong.\nYou ask what problem a ticket solves before you estimate it, and flag gaps in a requirement early.\nYou support your features after release and fix your own bugs first.\nYou communicate clearly with developers, BAs and QA, including colleagues in other time zones.\nYou’re keen to learn the trading domain: accounts, IBs, KYC and multi-entity regulation.\nDesirable\nSalesforce Platform Developer II, or a Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certification\nHands-on experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot) for code generation, Apex/LWC refactoring, test class generation, and rapid debugging.\nUnlocked packages and package-based development\nEvent-driven design with Platform
