This requires careful attention to detail, knowledge of algorithms and data structures, and ability to design testable and scalable systems. We care about automation.We’relooking for like-minded individuals to join us.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, test, extend, andmaintainfunctionality for our web applications and systems. Good Python, JavaScript (React,NextJS), HTML/CSS, and Linux knowledge. Basic understanding of UX and the Cboe Design Systems (Chroma and Contour). Basic understanding of SQL and familiarity with relational databases.\nImplement automated unit tests and test changes to systems and platform functionality prior to deployment.\nContribute to remediation efforts for incidents arising from own changes.\nProvide input into team sprint planning andparticipatein periodic team meetings.\nParticipate in peer code reviews. Capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.\nParticipate in requirements gathering and analysis. Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and requirements for our data and applications.\nDemonstrate interest in system and business knowledge and take steps to improve understanding ofCboe'smarkets and technology. Assertive anddetail oriented, with excellent communication skills.\nPrioritize and manage time effectively across projects in a deadline-driven environment.\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills.
