This is a 2nd shift position, Tuesday through Saturday. The role follows a 5-day, 8-hour workweek, with shifts scheduled between Tuesday and Saturday. Standard 2nd shift hours are 2:00pm to 11pm.\nUSHolidaycoveragemayberequired.\nPleasenote:Therole maybeeligible forashiftdifferentialof10%dependingontheshiftworked.\nInthisrole, you willbe responsible for:\nInstallandmaintainservers,networkdevices,storagesystems,andassociatedcablingandcrossconnectivity\n\nPerformstructuredcabling(copper,MMF,SMF),includingtesting,routing,labeling,anddocumentation\n\nExecutedailyMACtasksincludingequipmentinstalls,moves,andrack/cableupgrades\n\nBeourhandsandeyesinthedatacenterandreportanyenvironmentalissues(power,cooling,temperatures)andescalate to management and the provider\n\nWorkwithEngineeringandNOCteamstotroubleshoothardware,applicationandconnectivityissuesdirectlyandviaJira tickets\n\nGenerateandmaintainequipmentinventories,rackelevations,cablemaps,anddocumentationstandards\n\nRespondtodatacenterincidentsincludinghardwarefailuresandcablingissues\n\nSupportnewequipmentrolloutsanddatacenterexpansionprojects\n\nAssistwithvendorcoordination,shipping/receiving,RMAs,andonsiteserviceactivities\n\nSupporttheongoingdevelopmentandimprovementofourglobaldatacenteroperationsstandards\n\nParticipateinon-callcoverageandshiftrotations\n\nResearchnewDataCenterinfrastructureequipmentadvancementsandrecommendchangesasneededtomanagement\n\nDemonstratedabilitytodeliverhigh-quality,consistent,reliableworkandastrongsenseofownershipinsupportingcritical operations\n\nTheidealcandidatewillhave:\n5+years’experienceindatacentersupportincluding:\n\nRacking,removing,cablingandtroubleshootingserver,storage,andnetworkequipmentincolocation environment\n\nMACworkwhichincludesinstalling/movingequipmentandcablingonalarge-scalebasis\n\nThecandidatewillneedtobeproficientincableplantdesignandtroubleshooting(Copper/MMF/SMF)aswellasproficient in the industry standard testing tools\n\nBasicworkingknowledgeofHVAC,power,fire,buildingsecuritysystemsoperations,andsafety\n\nWorkingknowledgeoftelecommunicationstechnologies,systems,andcircuits\n\nAbilitytoliftupto75lbsandworkinsidedatacenterenvironmentsforextendedperiods\n\nAbilitytoworkindependentlyandmanagemultipletasksandprojects\n\nAbilitytoworkwellinadynamicteam-orientedenvironment\n\nExcellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillswithastrongattentiontodetail\n\nAbilitytomultitaskandmanagemultipleprojects\n\nTeamplayer,desiringtobepartofahigh-performanceteamwithdynamicresponsibilities\n\nPerformotherdutiesasassignedbymanagement\n\nMustbewillingandflexibletoworkdifferentshifts(as needed tosupportthebusinessneeds) for short-to-long-term periods of time as well as participate in the On Call support rotation\n\nThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSalary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)\nAt Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market-informed total rewards program.
