As a manager of softwarequality engineersfor this testing team,you’llwork with the development and business teams to prioritize, schedule, and staff projects toexecute onour vision.You’llbe a hands-on technical leader and contribute to tools and automated tests. You’llhelp manage our CI/CD deployment pipeline and infrastructure as well as our status reporting and dashboards. This role is a criticalcomponentof our engineering and testingprocessproviding enhancement ofCboe’ssuperior technology and ensuring industry leading performance.\nLocation: London, UK\nResponsibilities\nManage a team of softwarequality engineerswhoare responsible forthetesting and deploymentof theCboeEuropehigh performancetrading system, whichoperateson a shared code base withCboe’sUS equities and options markets.\n\nTranslate testing requirements into automated regression tests for our Exchange platforms\n\nReview code, guide newer team members\n\nContribute to new tool designs and testing techniques\n\nApply modern AI techniques to QA activities within the Software Development Life Cycle\n\nBecome familiar with our supported asset classes such as equities, options, futures, and indices\n\nLearn trading concepts and apply this knowledge to develop a wide variety of test scenarios\n\nRequirements\nManagement Experience:\nRecentmanagement experience overseeing quality assurance teams\n\nDemonstrable ability to hire top talent and grow quality assurance engineers\n\nThree years of experienceplanning, organizing, and leading test efforts or testing teams\n\nAI and Automation:\nDemonstrable experience with implementing an AI-centric SDLC in the QA space\n\nPractical experience with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar\n\nFamiliarity with agentic AI frameworks -LangChain,AutoGen, or equivalents\n\nA builder’s instinct: you see where AI can remove friction and you act on it\n\nCore Engineering Skills:\nMore than five years of individual contributor QA experience, with recent anddemonstrable experience coding and enhancing test frameworks and creating automated test cases\n\nPython development or scripting experience or a working knowledge of another scripting or programming language and a willingness to learn Python\n\nStrong experience in object-oriented design and programming techniques\n\nUnderstanding ofdatabase platforms such asPostreSQL(preferred).A workingknowledge of SQL is necessary.\n\nExperience with version control tools such as Git (preferred), Subversion, or other version control tools\n\nExperience working in a continuous integration environment and with tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo\n\nExperience with the Atlassian toolset is a plus\n\nYou'llreally stand out with:\nExperience working in financial markets and knowledge of various order entry or market data protocols\n\nBenefits and Perks\nWe value the total wellbeing of our people - including health, financial, personal and social wellness.
