The ideal candidate is able to understand complex business problems, scope projects, identify business opportunities, optimize workflows, and communicate their findings across all levels of the organization. This role is highly visible and involves working closely with other teams in Engineering, Product, senior leadership, and industry partners. \nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement a private and permissioned distributed ledger using DAML or Canton and other open source blockchain frameworks.\nBuild and maintain a RESTful API using Python and FastAPI.\nProvide technical leadership to motivate and guide team members and mentor junior engineers.\nPArticipate in daily stand-up meetings and peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC.\nStay current with the latest developments in blockchain technology and incorporate them into the iCapital ecosystem.\nQualifications\n9+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions\n3+ year technical leadership and management experience\nExperience with DAML, Solidity, or other blockchain programing languages\nExperience with Python, Toke and FastAPI\nDemonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices\nExperience building APIs for large scale applications using AWS\nBenefits\nThe base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
