This role will help define and deliver new features for one or more of iCapital's software platforms. You will work closely with Product Management and Design throughout the software development lifecycle-scoping requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues uncovered during automated and manual testing.\nThe iCapital Identity frontend uses TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Relay. The backend is built in Elixir/Phoenix, with some Go and Node.js, backed by PostgreSQL. Our infrastructure runs on AWS and is provisioned using Terraform.\nResponsibilities:\nLeverage an Elixir + Phoenix backend running on Amazon’s latest serverless technologies to power a TypeScript + React frontend\nSupport existing products and features while helping design and build new ones\nDesign and develop integrations with other iCapital platforms\nCollaborate regularly with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates\nQualifications:\n10-15+ years of experience in a related field\nStrong understanding of modern browser technologies and web fundamentals (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS, etc.)\nExtensive experience developing full-stack web applications\nExperience in collaborative environments where engineers define project vision, influence technical strategy, and continuously learn\nStrong relational database fundamentals\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrated proficiency and professional success coding in at least one programming language\nExperience with Linux and strong command-line skills\nPreferred/Additional Experience \nWriting production-ready code in Elixir, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Ruby\nOptimizing queries in PostgreSQL\nDeveloping with React, Vue, Angular, or LiveView\nDeploying and configuring applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)\nPrior experience in a security or penetration-testing role\nQuerying Google BigQuery or other large relational datasets\nTechnical leadership, team lead, or management experience\nWe believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together.
